๐ŸŽ‰ MORE GREAT NEWS FOR ANTELOPE! ๐ŸŽ‰

We are incredibly excited to share another update showing the continued academic growth of our Rams!

ACT recently issued an ERRATA Notice and recalculated ACT scores nationwide. With those corrections, Antelope Union High Schoolโ€™s SY2025โ€“2026 results improved even further!

๐Ÿ“š English: 21% passing โ€” 10 of 47 students, including 2 Highly Proficient
โž— Math: 17% passing โ€” 8 of 47 students, including 1 Highly Proficient
๐Ÿ”ฌ Science: 26% passing โ€” 12 of 47 students, including 2 Highly Proficient
๐Ÿ“ˆ Overall: 19% passing โ€” 9 of 47 students met the overall benchmark

That means our corrected scores increased another 4 percentage points in English, 4 points in Math, and 5 points in Science!

And when we look at where we have come from, the growth is even more exciting:

๐Ÿ”ต Five years ago, only 4 students met the English benchmark. This year: 10 students.
๐Ÿ”ด Five years ago, 4 students met the Math benchmark. This year: 8 students.
๐Ÿ”ต Five years ago, 6 students met the Science benchmark. This year: 12 students.
๐Ÿ”ด Our Science pass rate has grown from 12% to 26%.

Our overall ACT passing rate has also continued to climb:

2021โ€“2022: 10%
2022โ€“2023: 5%
2023โ€“2024: 7%
2024โ€“2025: 13%
โญ 2025โ€“2026: 19%

For additional perspective, Yuma Union High School Districtโ€™s overall 2024โ€“2025 rates were 26% in English and 14% in Math. Antelope is now at 21% in English and 17% in Math โ€” meaning our Rams have surpassed their prior-year districtwide Math rate and are within five percentage points in English.

And we have only just begun.

These numbers represent much more than test scores. They represent students working harder, teachers raising expectations, families supporting their children, and an entire school community believing that Antelope students are capable of achieving at a higher level.

We still have work to do โ€” and we are excited about that work. We are continuing to strengthen curriculum, increase rigor, expand intervention and enrichment, improve instruction, and create more opportunities for every student who walks through our doors.

We are so proud of our students and grateful for the teachers, staff, families, and community members who continue to move Antelope forward.

The progress is real. The momentum is building. And the best is still ahead.

Hello Antelope Families,

Based on recent enrollment changes and feedback we have received from parents and families, we have made several updates to our bus routes and transportation schedule for the 2026โ€“2027 school year.

The updated bus routes and schedule will take effect beginning Monday, August 10, 2026.

Our goal is to make transportation as efficient and accessible as possible while continuing to meet the needs of students throughout our large service area. We greatly appreciate the feedback families have provided as we have worked to adjust and finalize these routes.

The updated schedule includes four routes serving Wellton; Dome Valley, Wellton Hills, and Coyote Wash; Roll, Texas Hill, Tacna, and Citrus City; and Hyder and Dateland.

Please carefully review the attached updated schedule for your studentโ€™s bus stop and pickup time, including the separate Monday pickup times. Because routes and times have changed, we ask all families who utilize district transportation to review the new schedule before Monday morning.

As always, bus pickup times are approximate, and we encourage students to be at their designated stop a few minutes early.

Thank you to our families for your patience, communication, and feedback as we continue working to improve transportation services for our students. We appreciate your partnership and your willingness to work with us as enrollment and transportation needs change throughout our district.

If you have any questions or need assistance determining your studentโ€™s route or stop, please contact the Antelope Union High School Front Office at (928) 785-3344 or frontoffice@antelopeunion.org.

Cheerleading
Good afternoon, Ram Families,

I am thrilled to share some exciting news with you.

Based on our internal calculations, Antelope Union High School is projected to earn a "B" school letter grade for the 2025-2026 school year. While these results remain preliminary and are subject to final review and verification by the Arizona Department of Education, this represents an incredible milestone for our school.

Our current projected score is 69.07 points, comfortably above the 65-point cutoff for a "B", and we are within striking distance of an "A," which currently begins at 83 points. Depending on the state's final review, our score could increase even further.

Just two years ago, this would have seemed nearly impossible.

This achievement reflects the hard work and dedication of our students, teachers, support staff, administrators, Governing Board, and, most importantly, our families. Together, we have built a culture that emphasizes student growth, high expectations, and preparing every student for success after high school.

Several accomplishments helped make this possible, including:

- Significant improvements on state assessments, including ACT and AzSCI.
- Outstanding participation in ACT Aspire testing.
- Exceptional performance in our English learner program (AZELLA).
- Nearly 96% FAFSA completion, helping more students prepare for college and career opportunities.
- Continued growth in Dual Enrollment, allowing students to earn college credit while still in high school.
- Expanded Career and Technical Education opportunities, with more students earning industry credentials.
- Success in our Spanish CLEP testing initiative, allowing students to earn valuable college credit.

These accomplishments are much more than numbers; they represent students learning more, achieving more, and graduating with greater opportunities than ever before.

What makes this accomplishment even more meaningful is that it was achieved while our district continues working through receivership. Rather than allowing challenges to define us, our staff, students, and community have worked together to prove what can be accomplished through determination, collaboration, and a shared commitment to excellence.

While we are incredibly proud of this projected "B," we also know our work is not finished. With the students currently enrolled at Antelope and the systems we have put in place, we believe earning an "A" school letter grade is an achievable goal over the next two years.

To every student who studied, every teacher who inspired, every staff member who supported, every parent who encouraged, and every community member who believed in Antelopeโ€”thank you. This accomplishment belongs to all of us.

Thank you for your continued support of Antelope Union High School. We look forward to celebrating this achievement together once the Arizona Department of Education releases the official results.

Celebration

Dear Antelope Families and Community Members,

I am pleased to share an important milestone in Antelope Union High School District's continued efforts to strengthen our future and ensure long-term financial stability.

As of May 31, 2026, the district successfully paid all outstanding registered warrants. While this may sound like a technical financial term, it represents significant progress in improving the district's financial health and moving closer to a successful exit from receivership.

This accomplishment did not happen overnight. It is the result of careful planning, responsible financial management, and the collective efforts of our Governing Board, staff, students, families, community partners, and state-appointed leadership. It reflects the progress Antelope has made over the past two years and demonstrates that our district is moving in the right direction.

I would also like to extend a sincere thank you to our community for your continued support of Antelope. Whether you have volunteered your time, attended events, donated resources, supported our fundraisers, sponsored programs, or simply advocated for our students and school, your contributions have played an important role in helping us reach this milestone. Strong schools are built through strong community partnerships, and we are grateful for the investment our community continues to make in Antelope's success.

While there is still important work ahead, we are proud of this achievement and the opportunities it creates for our students and school community. Every step we take toward financial stability helps ensure that we can continue investing in educational opportunities, student programs, facilities, and the overall success of our students.

Thank you for your continued trust, partnership, and commitment to Antelope Union High School. Together, we are honoring our past, building our future, and creating new opportunities for the next generation of Rams.

Dear Antelope Families,

We have an exciting opportunity to bring the world to Antelope while making a lasting impact on a student's life. We are currently seeking host families for several international exchange students who will be studying in the United States this school year.

Hosting an exchange student is a rewarding experience that allows families to learn about another culture, create lifelong friendships, and help a young person experience American life and education firsthand.

We currently have the following students available for placement:

Kosuma โ€“ Cambodia
Kosuma has a passion for astronomy and loves learning about the stars and the universe. We would especially love to place her with a family that enjoys stargazing or has access to a telescope so she can continue pursuing her interest while experiencing the beauty of our rural Arizona skies.

Ariana โ€“ Italy
Ariana enjoys spending time with pets, cooking, and playing chess. She loves the mountains and dreams of becoming an actress. She would be a wonderful fit for a family that enjoys outdoor adventures, creativity, and sharing meals together.

Emilian โ€“ Germany
Emilian is passionate about soccer and plays as often as possible. He would be an excellent addition to our soccer program and would thrive with a family that enjoys sports and an active lifestyle.

Linus โ€“ Germany
Linus enjoys music, dance, theatre, sports, and working out. He would be a great fit for a family that values both creativity and staying active.

If you have ever considered hosting an exchange student, or if you know someone in our community who may be interested, please contact me. I would be happy to answer any questions and provide additional information about the hosting process.

Thank you for considering this unique opportunity to share the Antelope community with students from around the world.

Senior awards and graduation
Dear Antelope Families,

We are excited to share the available course offerings for the 2026โ€“2027 school year at Antelope Union High School!

As we continue building opportunities for our students, we are proud to offer a wide variety of classes designed to prepare students for college, trade school, military service, and the workforce. Students will have access to strong academic programs, honors and dual enrollment opportunities, Career and Technical Education (CTE) pathways, agriculture and welding programs, automotive technology, culinary arts, computer courses, foreign language options, ACT preparation, leadership opportunities, and much more.

Our goal is to ensure every student has access to a schedule that supports both graduation requirements and their future goals and interests. We encourage families to review the available classes together and begin discussing areas of interest and long-term plans for after high school.

Please note that some elective offerings are dependent upon student interest, scheduling availability, grade level requirements, or teacher approval. Elective placement is also based on seniority and overall schedule composition.

At Antelope Union, we remain committed to expanding opportunities and creating meaningful pathways for student success. We are incredibly excited about the direction of our school and the opportunities available for our students next year.

If you have any questions regarding scheduling, graduation requirements, course selections, or student pathways, please do not hesitate to contact the front office. We are always happy to help and support your family throughout the scheduling process.

Thank you for your continued support of Antelope Union High School and for being part of our Ram Pride community!
